Re: [Electric Boats] Weedoo

Reading thru the literature I did not see any claims about being "solar powered". The add does describe a 27 HP motor and a solar panel (size unspecified). Just guessing form the picture, I would estimate a 50 to 75 w/hr solar panel. 1 hp is about 750 w/hr. Its not hard to do the math. 27 hp x 750 w = more than 75 watts. The solar panel is probably keep the battery charged between use, run some lights, and power the radio; that makes sense to me.
The term "Eco-friendly" does not mean solar powered, since the product is designed to restore historic "lake characteristics"; I would also call it eco-friendly.

This is a little 12 ft that is designed to gather surface weeds from lakes. Our local HOA just bought one.  Is supposed to be solar

powered but has only one in my opinion solar panel.

They are going to store in a covered lift and the Co. claims that it is self powered and will keep running and working in the  day light
