Alex,
Check the specs on the Torqeedo charging system. I had a 1003L, and the internal computer would only charge the internal battery array at a bit under 40 watts, as I recall. Supplying a higher charging amperage/wattage ability may not charge the Torqeedo any faster. That is why the Torqeedo supplied chargers are kind of wimpy.
