Yes, I use a MorningStar TriStar MPPT 60 Amp controller to charge three
26-104 Torqeedo batteries in parallel for my 25 foot Sol. The power
comes from four 327 W SunPower panels that are her roof. The motor is a
Torqeedo 2.0 and the hull is lofted as a wider version of the efficient
1907 Coyote. I cruise at 5 knots. Speed versus Power in Watts:
Power Knots
2000 6
1000 5
250 3
I use a MorningStar 12 V MPPT controller to charge the house battery
from the 24 V system. I only send MorningStar controllers to villages
in tropical climates as they have proved to be highly reliable.

Thank you all, it has been very informative and I am changing my thoughts on maybe getting the Cruise 2.0 again. Does anybody know of a good way to solar charge up the 26-104 lithium battery? I will be using Powerfilm pamala most probably as they seem to be the best. The link to their website is here. I was thinking about using the FM16-7200 http://www.powerfilmsolar.com/products/?fm167200&show=product&productID=271514&productCategoryIDs=6571 Does anybody know if this will be any good at 15v if that, or would I have to buy two and daisy chain ( wire in series ) them for it to charge? Thank you.
