John,
It's a Redwing 18, modified a little. I expect it weighs about 800lbs. The motors are off a Lenco troll system but they are standard 82lb. MotorGuides. Two of them so I can steer with differential thrust if desired (good for docking). The only thing I don't have fully designed yet is a tilt system. There is a hinge point built into the outboard unit, but it's pretty heavy, so it's a challenge to lift. Sort of like lifting the rudder on your sailboat with 30lb. of lead at the bottom.
thanks for the interest,
Glenn

Glenn,That's great to hear!! (though maybe we should wait and buy up several props before word gets back to Torqeedo that their prop on a $500-$1000 motor would work "good enough" to avoid spending $3500 on a Torqeedo....)What size boat do you have? [Attachment(s) from Glenn Holland included below]John,I'm experimenting with a torqeedo prop on a 24V Motor Guide now. I have not taken any calibrated measures but it seems to push my boat at hull speed with about 25% less throttle. Photo attached.keep it floatin,Glenn Holland
