Hi Steve,

So it sounds like you're down to one missing feature in the new 1003, the external battery adapter. If I was interested in buying one to use that way, I would contact Torqeedo directly to find out whether they ever intend to add that feature to the 1003, and if not, why not. Any answers that we make up about it here are pure speculation.
