My name is John and I live on lake Yojoa in Honduras, my web site is www.elcortijodellago.com. I have various boats including a trimaran with a diesel inboard sail boat motor. Its about 10 hp. and moves my boat at a good speed, not fast, but I can carry 15 people. I want to convert this boat to electric. My current motor is connected to a marine forward and reverse transmission, which I would like to keep. Can I use a golf cart motor and controller?
