If you are cycling them very shallowly they may have "gone to sleep",
in the telecommunications game this is a big issue, so they
periodically deep cycle their batteries and strongly equalise them
(or at least did when a friend worked for Australias' 'Telecom' a few
years back).
Maybe they just need a 'wake up'?
