I place this one in my "Silly Fox News" folder.
Here's a tip re this kind of stuff. They are the same as bogus virus alerts claiming 'Microsoft have announced this', or 'Norton have warned that' - you can very quickly do research, in the case of virus warnings, by checking the claims made, such as at Microsoft.com or the Norton page. You will generally find nothing referring to the issue.
The reports also generally will not give the file name of the claimed virus, which is a major clue to authenticity.
My understanding is, that like most fairly effective bogus scares, (they are often based on some smatterings of truth), the part about the reductions in global currents has been debated and documented for years now, the cause being global warming.
And, above all, it is on a free blogging page!
The sad thing is, that these things turn into 'fact' if they are bandied about enough.
I'm sure that Obama is responsible for the deregulation that was the root cause though! And although the great Sarah might not do any better, at least she would be more entertaining to watch - on the comedy network!
Sleep peacefully, Kirk, all is normal in the world as far as the downhill slide to obscurity goes. And we all have time to electrify our boats.
