It depends on your motor type. The regular Sevcon Gen4 is an AC controller that supports PMAC or AC induction motors. If your current controller is PWM, then your motor is probably a DC motor. That said, it appears that Sevcon offers a Gen4 DC controller, though I haven't heard of any in this group using one yet. These controllers are not cross-compatible, you need the right controller for your motor type.
