No, those are battery amps total. The motors run in series on the output of the controller. There are four solenoids set up for forward and reverse on the output as well. Absolute max current draw is never over 45 amps in forward, in reverse it can top out near 100! But the motors and props don't much like running there. There is a lot of cavitation and vibration and the motors won't stay straight without a strong hand on the tiller.
I attribute this to the brush timing and don't believe the motors would last long if they were running continuously this way.

Oh yeah, how are you steering yours? differential speeds on the two motors or some other means?
I have one motor fixed and the other as a tiller, turns on a dime.
