I believe that I read somewhere, that Nonsuch hull is the thickest you will ever find, there is a tremendous amount of mass in the hull.

That's what she weighs in the travel lift.
Originally the designer had it speced to be 11,000 lbs but, hinterholler the builder refused to build it that light. Not sure where all the weight was added exactly but' she's got a big beam over 11 feet.

Capt. Mike, I can understand 300# for the mast on a Nonsuch 30 but how did it get up to 8 tons displacement?
