That may be so but just the fact that it burns GAS is enough reason to change it out, even if it runs good.

the atomic 4 is very reliable and gives great service with minimal maintenance. Having owned 4 and around 10,000 miles on them and only one valve job, which I did in one afternoon, other than routine twice a year, I would say that the problem is with the owners not the engine.
look how many are still out there giving fine service.
