[Electric Boats] Converting a flying dingy , motor sizing.

Found this the other day and I'm like a 14yr old about it.

My question is regarding engine sizing. Currently this manuf. is using a 105hp two stroke ICE. What equivalent kw electric motor should I be looking at? The prop is not in the water and it operates as an airboat. My understanding with in water props anyway is that it is the torque that matters and that the equiv watts needed are less than a strict 1hp=768watts conversion?

There is an electric airplane co (http://www.electraflyer.com/trike.php ) that is producing an electric trike (wheels instead of a inflatable monohull)with an optional 65inch blade with 155lbs of thrust coming from an 18hp electric motor...this trike is smaller and slower than the one above.
