[Electric Boats] Re: Duffy E-Meter

Has anyone tried to re-calibrate the e-meter? It is a very simple process and takes only 16 seconds to accomplish.Have the battery cables been checked to verify that they are tight? These are simple things that should be done before accusing Duffy boats of any wrong doing. Duffy has built thousands of boats and they are very careful how they do this.
I have owned many Duffy's in the past and currently own one now. It is true that the e-meter is a very sensitive instrument, but they are quite useful when cruising. As to the owner "being stranded at sea" how absurd. Duffy's were never intended to be taken out to sea, they are harbor and lake boats and perform that task very well. I had a 2003 21 Cruiser that was out on the water almost every day for 4 years with 4400 hours on it with no trouble at all and it is still cruising with a new owner today. My old cruiser even has the original batteries in it!
I think that another ambulance should be chased here and the fellow that owns the 18 Snug Harbor should read the re-calibration procedure from Duffy.
