Thanks! I believe I will go for 12V (that is 17V-10V panel voltage), and well insulated...

I need to charge a 120V battery. But charging each of the 10 batteries individually with one panel+solar controller per battery should go fine I believe...

48v will give you a pretty good bite, especially if there is saltwater involved. Might not be deadly but it will get your attention!
Even 24v can sting a little if you grab a bare conductor with sweaty hands.
Make sure everything is well insulated in any case.
