i put an electric system in my boat a few years back. because of work and family issues the boat has not been in the water in three years. i am sure i will have lots of fun correcting things that suffer from non-use. the batteries have been on smart trickle chargers the entire time and every time i have checked in on her the battery guage says 53 volts or so. just like way back when. so the question, should i expect the batteries to be shot? or could they have a year or two left. they are agm if that makes any difference. so in summary if properly used and maintained agm batteries have -for my question--a 7 year life and they have been as i said for three years would they last 10.
thanks
dan
