It's a 48v motor from goldenmotor in China (goldenmotor.com). I believe that they vary the winding to match the voltage, but never asked the question. So far I have had great customer experience with them with getting questions answered/troubleshooting. I was placed in direct contact with one of their engineers when I had an issue being caused by a fried contactor (my fault). When I was investigating motors to use I contacted a more local motor manufacturer (to remain nameless) and was given the cold shoulder and had to pry information like performance curves out of them, it made my decision as a DIY guy much easier. I have yet to run the motor in-the-water so I cannot speak to quality or longevity first hand.
