We pulled the diesel out of our 30-foot sailboat and are now getting ready to rebuild the stringers to install the 10.5-kw kit and gear reduction I bought from Thunderstruck motors.
If anyone has used this 48-volt kit, could you offer advice on which type of battery you used? I want to design the engine compartment to hold them as efficiently as possible, so any advice or experience will be appreciated.
