Hi Michael,

There is a lot of conflicting info about using lithium cells.

The arguments for and against using a BMS (and what a BMS should be designed to do)are pretty well explained here:

Yeah, it's a lot to wade through.

For what it's worth, I installed a BMS in my system, and it works great, but with I'm not sure it's really necessary in my application.
