[Electric Boats] Re: Corvus Pricing....

 

Another example of getting caught by the Ah and voltage thing.

I like the fact that Corvus lists in Wh, it makes it easier for them because they sell at all sorts of voltages.

Looking at these two vendors:
ManzanitaMicro - $1.40/Wh (180Ah @ 12V)
Corvus (bronze) - $1.75/Wh
Corvus (gold) - $1.25/Wh
If I remember correctly, MasterVolt Li - $2.00/Wh (estimated)

These are turn key battery packs with BMS and protected connections. They should also have better warranties and customer service. But is comes at a price.

You can still put together a DIY pack of prismatic LiFePO4 cells with basic BMS for about $0.50/Wh.

As always, it's your money, it's your choice.
