Hi Eric
This is a great basis point, now apply 80% DoD over 3-10 yrs based on average weekend sailing, ballpark estimate (4) cycles per weekend x 6 months (24 weekends)
let's use (100) cycles per year at 80% DoD for range potential.
So if we think in Wh, FLA cost about $0.10-$0.12/Wh, AGM cost between $0.20 and $0.25/Wh and Li is currently $0.45 to $0.50/Wh. You don't have to think about Ah or volts. Doesn't that simplify things?

For everything else I always speak in Kw/hr, but even the cell companies quote a/hr per cell, so I ran with it. All I know and care about is finally these cells are cheaper than AGM, when you figure cycle life, and that is all I need for my next re-power.
