Re: [Electric Boats] Re-E-Power

to the Group

I can't suggest too strongly that you only pay through PayPal for
products. Their dispute and fund recovery is excellent.

I recovered over $1000 earlier this year from a party that took funds
for services and disappeared at least stopped communicating.

Keep records. emails and any contracts. be prepared to copy and fax.
for some reason they will not take support documentation to a claim via
email

I had a 35 page file of all communications that were faxed and make
recovery possible.

Lots of people are start small business with the best of intentions, get
in over their head and pull an ostrich. Not stealing maybe but not
honorable either.

Back in the 80's I presold a dozen vessels before going into
production. Material costs then doubled and the price sold for barely
covered the material costs. Everyone got their boat if they wanted it
at the agreed price and the rest a few refund .

It cost me my business and I never fully recovered but was my loss and
problem and I took the hit. I find this a rare trait today.
