[Electric Boats] Re-E-Power

 

To the group:  Hope you can be of some assistance to me in this matter.  Back in June of 2009, I ordered a Model 2000 electric motor and submitted a payment to Re-E-Power for $2,750.  To date, I have not received the motor and have tried uncountable times to reach the owner, Kevin, regarding my order.  He has not returned any calls or emails and seems to have dropped off the face of the earth - except for the fact that I now see the exact same motor for sale on eBay for the same amount of money on a buy-it-now basis.  Does anyone have any information about this company, if indeed it is a real company, and what their situation might be?  I would appreciate any information you might be able to share as I am now contemplating further action.  My plans to equip my pocket cruiser with a suitable electric motor seem to be in jeopardy right now, and I am afraid I am out over $2,000.  Thanks.
