The motors are in production. They are my own design. I started Advanced Marine Electric Propulsion to provide purpose built direct drive brushless DC motors as a maintence-free alternative to small diesel and gas inboards.

Three 5kw systems will be installed next week for evaluation. The 5kw motor uses the same housing as the 2kw system, but with an external controller.
