[Electric Boats] My conclusion Re: AGM Batteries

 

The "bottom balancing" idea makes perfect sense to me, and I can see a use for it even on lead-acid. In fact, I think it offers a way around the "mix and match" problem - adding new batteries to old banks. Recognizing that all batteries are intrinsically unique (in AH capacity, resistance, etc) offers a way forward.
