Btw, I got a message from Sven at Torqeedo that said it was okay to go up to 30 volts on the 801 but not to 36v. Building a 30 volt charger may be a challenge. I may just add a 6 volt charger if I go that way. The controller will still limit you to 800 watts, 1000 w on max thrust.
Do you have a battery management system on your LiFePO bank?
