I'm incorporating them into my solar panel powered canoe.
The first is a 'ball joint' connection like what you'd find connecting the gas pedal linkage, in a car, to the carburetor. Most I found used 1/4" x 28 threads. This one uses 5/16" with fine threads. Also it has a spring loaded 'quick release'
I'm using 2 of these to connect my 2 trolling motors together (steering linkage) Now if I get one of them fouled up in seaweed or the like it would be nothing to disconnect and swing the motor up and out of the water.

This second link shows a U Tube video comparing 3 types of 'in line' watt/volt/amp gauges. They make it sound like the GT Power unit is the way to go. Anyway it works with up to 60 volts and 130 amps.
Maybe too light duty for most of the guys here, but just maybe .......
