Consider using dielectric grease on well cleaned surfaces during assembly. This prevents oxidation.
Brass fasteners are preferred over stainless in all electrical work. Copper is best electrically, but oxidizes far too easily (ie tinned copper only in marine wire).
Bi-annual inspections of wiring helps prevent surprises. Full power at the dock for ten minutes, then just feel the terminations. Loose or corroded interfaces will heat more than sound ones. Quick and easy.

Bradley, you might do a little snooping around about using stainless washers. I have seen a number of situations where the stainless proved to be high resistance. You might look for brass or monel washers.
Good luck.
