[Electric Boats] Torqeedo on Seawind Catamaran

Steve, thank you for the kind words but unfortunately we've suspended (temporarily?) our cruising lifestyle. Been lurking on this list, and made a few posts in the past. Yes, feel right at home here and appreciating so many great technical discussions.

A better link specifically addressing preliminary Torqeedo 4.0 testing on my Seawind 1000 catamaran (and Torqeedo 2.0 on SeaCycle catamaran) is:

I have more usable data points but need to figure out how to do a nonlinear regression analysis to end up with a decent equation.

Right now I've dismantled this setup and am experimenting with LiFePO4 batteries - specifically, Headway and ABAT (because I got them for a very good price), using CellPro8 balance chargers and CellLog monitors for bench testing. I'll be installing the Lithiums first into one of my EVs before taking to the boat as I want to ensure that I have a foolproof over- and under-voltage battery management system. Plan on posting when I have something concrete to show off.

Have come realize that lead is sooooo last century... :-)
