Well, again, this motor is still in the testing stages - but the comapny
site says that they're going to be producing these for a range of
applications, including marine ones, and in RPM ranges down to 400 RPM.
A transfer box would, of course, not be a sensible approach.

Whew. That's a marvel of engineering, too. If you scale this to my
existing Perkins 4-108 (50HP nominal, 400lbs+), then this little thing
would produce the same amount of power at 1/40th the weight - or 2000HP
at the same weight.
Now, we just need to concentrate on the power collection/production
side.
