In fact, "decent speed" has been defined by the local harbor authorities here on the island, as the speed at which one doesn't disturb boats in the anchorage, or 3 knots max.
Decency, IMHO, is best associated with slow-boating.
Speed isn't as cool as it used to be...

Hi Marc,

Define "decent speed". Regular trolling motors will get you to about 2.5-3 kts. For my boat, I would classify 4 kts "acceptable", but not exactly "decent". But it's all a matter of personal opinion.
