Hi!
Like many before me, I am just sending out a quick hello to the group before falling back into silence and lurking, oops I mean learning, mode for a while.
By way of background, I am an owner of a C&C 27 with an Atomic 4 engine that is starting to annoy me with several (currently fixable) problems. As it has not yet given up the ghost, but is starting to suck my wallet out, I am planning to start learning about my options with the eventual intention of potentially building my EV conversion over the winter.
I am a lake sailor and club racer that doesn't need massive range, which is why I think an electric conversion could make sense.
Cheers to all and keep up the very interesting and informative discussion. I'll chime in if I feel I have something useful to say, but considering how new I am to this, I doubt I'll have anything useful to contribute very soon.
