Re: [Electric Boats] Re: Portable generators

[Moderator Note: This is a compilation of posts from GNHbus on this issue]

On a hunch, I'll bet your Insurer will tell you that you need more insurance, as a Lawyer would advise you need more counsel.

The most dangerous thing for an idiot is himself, accidents waiting to
happen, all the rules in the world can't fix. There will be accidents, no getting around it.

Capt. Mike makes good points regarding "safety first" in light of gasoline in outboards. Then the point regarding "Common Sense" , oh boy, it appears "Common Sense" was NOT handed out to the masses. The stories regarding "Uncommon Sense" and "Danger" are many.
I do see where strict guidelines are necessary for utilizing gasoline, electricity, onboard.

Safety first, we all know this, Im seeing the possible issues regarding portable gas generators like the Honda 2000. I came across a generator made in WA, runs on bio-diesel and makes hot water, I didn't look too close, but will.
