I couldn't find any pricing info on the Horizon SC46, do you have any additional info? That's a big beautiful boat, 21 tons and a cruise speed of 4.4kts and a top speed of 6kts. Given the limited power and the considerable windage of the design, tt may have issues dealing with adverse conditions.
The Island Pilot DSe 12M lists at $600,000US, but it's also got two 75hp drive diesels and two 5kW diesel generators onboard, So I would believe that it is better prepared for rough weather. It seems to me that taking advantage of the "green" aspects of the design become a matter of choice with this boat.
