Funny you should mention heat from the controller. I did some temperature measurements after several hours of operating on the cruise back from New York. Controller was about 118 degrees F at the top where the exhaust air comes out and the motor case was only 135 degrees F after four hours of operation. But, maybe ducting the heat from the motor might be a better solution than trying to use the Honda's output. No CO2 worries.<g>
