Hi! I have a Thunderstruck kit in my Tartan 27-2 sailboat. It weighs almost 4 times what yours will. I have a 13 x 10 prop with 3:1 reduction. I think the 3;1 was a little too much reduction. I had the prop re-pitched to 12.5", and that helped. For a lighter boat, I would go with 2:1 or 2.5. I think one day I will try 2.5 on mine.. But i will say i am very happy with Thunderstruck. I have the old 8.5kw kit with the 0907 and Sevon 275 controller.. It was installed 4 years ago, no issues.
