I am primarily interested in the propeller. I need to buy a new shaft and propeller. Since that is a major expense, I would like to get it close enough on the first try.
The 12x10 propeller with 3:1 reduction seems like a good compromise for range and spare thrust.
But the spreadsheet suggest an optimal prop speed around 600 rpm. This would require 6:1 reduction. Is that practical with the Thunderstruck motor mount and reduction gear?
