Where ! will you be using it ?
If it looks like (calm) rivers, you likely will need very little power.
4000 lbs + structure is very light.
Be careful about windage and mass up top.
? Are you *sure* its wide enough ?
Stable boats are usually less than 1:1, in width / height.
From some pics, it looks like the plan could be near 1:2 in w/h.
IMO, it should be the other way round 2:1.
Note that with a 3 m high structure, and some wind, you can easily get
about 500-1000 kg lateral force on the side from wind load.
With say 80 cm waves, are you still *sure* it will be stable ?
A passing craft can easily input an 80 cm wave, at least once.
Look at the redneck constructions you have as eaxmples on your blogs.
They are all less than 1:1.
Just a caution.
You can alwyas made it twice as wide, later, by moving the floats.
Boats have fallen over from being tall and narrow.
