Although the ABYC has several sections on propane installation and components, there is nothing in the Code of Federal Regulations regarding propane installations on recreational vessels.
There are propane installation regs for inspected vessels (small passenger vessels), but that doesn't apply to most of us.
I'm certainly not advocating using anything but the best components, and I would insist on installing them to ABYC guidelines.
Just don't go looking for regs that don't exist.
