Hi Chris,
I would think that Woody has access to a considerable amount of testing data. In his first post in this group (but not since), he identified himself as working for Ray Electric Outboards Inc. so it's easy to understand his enthusiasm in recommending the product.
I don't really have the time right now, but perhaps at sometime in the future I'll do a little investigative analysis on some of the info published on their website.
