[Electric Boats] Re: converting 1921 7 meter canal cruiser boat in Amsterdam to electric

 

Narrow boats are naturals for electric drive. Wind and current drag are nil, the boats are easy to push, and the speed limit is 7.5 kph to 4 mph for most canals. Plus, you have easy access to shore power for recharging.
