I would go with one of the Torqeedo's say a Travel 1003 or the Cruise 2.0. Minn Kota has a "e-drive". Around that power level as well. All of these will be 48 volt motors. What kind of range are you looking to get? And at what speeds to you want to travel? That will decide where electric will work for you.
i have a 25 ft aluminium ex lifeboat and looking at the possibility of converting to elctric. it is powered by 4 hp outbord at moment.I have the original propshaft any ideas would be helpfull. I have very limited knowledge of electric powered boats, any other e mail sites ishould lookat
