Nice tidy unit…
From the specs, at ¼ load (750watts), the 3.5 gallon tank will last 15hours.
That's 3.2kwh/gallon fuel-to-battery economy.
Meanwhile, from personal experience with my Honda EU2000i (AC output) coupled with (70-90%eff.) battery chargers, I've seen this: 40amps into 36v continuous: 1.44kw
Energy: 1.44kwh * 3 hrs
Fuel: 0.95gallon
Economy: 4.5kwh/gallon fuel-to-battery economy
This worked out to around 13 mpg on average on the Columbia river with genset power alone and at just under 4knots (1.44kw).
