Hi,

Maybe this helps... Here's a compound image for an AGNI PM DC motor attached that I put together and coloured in to show the efficiency at different applied motor voltages and how the 'spread' of acceptable current varies. The motor is rated up to 84 V I think but I've only shown likely applied voltages for small displacement sailing boats. Amps on the bottom of the graphs.

I would prefer proper graphs/maps like YASA do though. See http://www.yasamotors.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/YASA_P400_Product_Sheet.pdf at bottom of page in the pdf. A different beast I admit but the principles remain the same.
