I wish to run two approx 7kw 3 phase motors from generators. I can install one large generator or two smaller generators , one in each hull, diesel driven. What is my minimum kw power needed to start and run motors?Can I start motors sequentially and provide forward and reverse mechanically rather than stopping and starting motors in reverse? Would appreciate any input in laymans terms.
