Hi,
32.5 Irwin 1972
2000KW Honda portable generator (EXCELLENT QUIET!)
2 48V outboards w/ remote throttle (~10 HP EACH)
2 48V battery chargers
2 48V battery banks (8 12V deep cycle batteries total)
This is MINIMAL endless propulsion. (til gen gas runs empty) Generator
recharges batteries while motoring and for 110V onboard uses.
Shore power recharges batteries dockside (2-10hours)
Barely enough power to gunk hole St Pete to Keys 2012.
Docking mode:
One motor for forward/reverse thrust.
2nd motor for stern left/right steering positioning.
Next project:
Toss diesel overboard:)
Install electric onboard.
LQQKn for DIY electric onboard recommendations.
