[Electric Boats] Re: Knots to Watts

 

Here are my numbers for a Hobie 16 Catamaran, converted outboard with Mars ME0907, 2:1 gear ratio to Torqeedo cruise 4.0 prop. 48 Volt GB lithium pack.  Weight as tested 800 lb.  Measured with high current cycle analyst.

 

3 knots 223 watts

4 knots 396 watts

5 knots 660 watts

6 knots 1440 watts 

10 knots 5000 watts
