I guess I should state that top end speed is not the ultimate goal with the trolling motor. I’m more interested in the battery capacity and being about to traverse more of the lake and still get home with worrying about it.
I’m located in the US east coast.
It sounds like building an 11s pack is the way to go.
I assume a BMS is cell balancing built into the battery vs a charger with balancing taps?
