I used to live in Redondo Beach and work in Torrance, myself. All over
the L.A. area at one time or another, actually, but these days, I'm
spending my time along the East Coast.

Oh, that is *awesome*. I saw a movie of a large gravity wheel being used
to pump water in Africa and was quite impressed; I've never seen one
done on a small scale like yours. That must have been lots of fun to set
up!
