I strongly doubt it. The design focus here is the production of small
but useful amounts of power *cheaply* - and that's not the main
constraint on a boat, where the primary goals are 1) minimum size/weight
per unit of power and 2) reliability in a harsh environment. Low cost,
as we all know, is _not_ a primary design goal for marine hardware.
